We are officially 30 days away from Wrestlemania 35 in New York City.
Once the 35th Anniversary of Wrestlemania concludes on April 7th, a new road will begin, and it will lead to Tampa Bay, Florida.
The WWE announced Thursday that Wrestlemania 36 will take place next year at Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Showcase of the Immortals will take place April 5th, 2020.
This will be the fourth time that Florida (Orlando ’08, ’17; Miami ’12) has hosted WWE’s marquee event and Tampa’s first.
Wrestlemania is an economic booster for any city that hosts the event creating upwards of $175 million in revenue for its host cities.
With all-week events such as Wrestlemania Axxess, NXT: Takeover, the Hall of Fame Ceremony, etc., Wrestlemania is the crown jewel event of all WWE.
Wrestlemania creates significant revenue opportunities for businesses as patrons come from all over the world to participate in the week’s festivities.
This year’s Wrestlemania 35 main events include Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw Women’s Title and Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Title.
With the return of Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens in recent days, the Road To Wrestlemania 2020 should be an electric one and it will culminate in Tampa Bay next year.
