RB Jamaal Charles has retired from the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs all-time leading rusher signed a one-day contract Wednesday with the team then announced his retirement.
The former Texas Longhorn played 11 seasons in the NFL and had 64 total touchdowns.
His 5.4 yards per carry average is 4th all-time in NFL history.
Known for his blazing speed and quickness, Charles was a 4X Pro-Bowler.
Charles, 32, was the Chiefs 3rd round selection in 2008.
