There is a Cowboys legend that is ready for Jamal Adams to become a Dallas Cowboy.

That would be Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin.

According to R.J. Choppy of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Irvin on the rumor of Jamal Adams to the Cowboys said on Twitter the Jets want a 1st and 3rd pick for the star safety.

Reports surfaced on Thursday evening that Jets and the 5th year safety are at a stalemate and an impasse with respect to long-term contract negotiations.

The former LSU star has been on record saying that Irvin is “like an uncle” to him and he is aware of everything that happens in Dallas.

Adams, a Dallas native, would be a welcomed addition to the Cowboys and appears that ‘The Playmaker’ is ready to welcome his “nephew” home along with the rest of Cowboys Nation.
